I Love it When...
I love it when I have a morning to myself to do nothing but indulge in a little me time. With no tasks to complete and Granby at the groomers until the afternoon, I have big plans for a bubble bath and I may even paint my nails. The perfect start to a day off and a great beginning to the weekend ahead. Happy Friday everyone!

I Love it When...
I love it when I can feel the baby moving around in my belly. Sometimes it's a little weird, but I'm so happy to know that she's in there flipping around. A few times each day I even get a solid fist (or elbow, or head, or knee) pump that's as jolting as it is wonderful. Grow baby, grow.

I Love it When...
I love it when I wake up to go about my mornings knowing that Granby will be asleep in his bed until at least 9:30am, just in time for his morning walk! What a dog.

I Love it When...
I love it when Chris and I spend an entire weekend watching movies and eating take-out in front of the TV. So indulgent!

I Love it When...
I love it when I flip through the newspaper to find the crossword, horoscope and "Word of the Day" all on one page. Ah, small pleasures.

I Love it When...
During her 25 year career at Harper's Bazaar, the formidable Diana Vreeland penned a column called "Why Don't You?" which posed questions to readers ranging from the outlandish, "Why don't you rinse your blond child's hair in dead champagne to keep its gold as they do in France?" to the fairly practical, "Why don't you travel with a little raspberry-coloured cashmere blanket to throw over yourself in hotels and trains?"
In the spirit of Ms. Vreeland's pizaaz (a word she invented, no less), I'd like to introduce my own appreciation for the everyday with "I Love it When..." So, without further ado:
"I love it when I come home from work at 8 o'clock to dinner bubbling on the stove, laundry in the machine and a bouquet of flowers awaiting my discovery." Yes, I am a lucky lady indeed.
