Fall Fashion (already?)

I know this is a baby blog, but I'm still a fashion-girl at heart and can't help but get excited about what comes off the runways. Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear presentations are just wrapping up in London and took place in New York last week. Thanks to technology I can spend hours browsing photos from new collections on Vogue.com and New York Magazine's awesome online fashion section. It's hard to imagine another fall/winter season already when springtime is just around the corner, but here are my favourites from Vogue:

What I like about Jason Wu (fun fact: he spent part of his childhood in Vancouver) is that his collections are always wearable and yet, he often manages to incorporate feathers. I'd like to own this coat and tights...

How good would this look on the playground?
Designer Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsum created a collection filled with so many delicious coats that it's hard to pick just one. This white coat is pretty spectacular though...

Maybe the wrong choice for toting around a sticky toddler.
Marc Jacobs always manages to 'bring it'. This collection had lots of ladylike knee-length skirts and details like lace and dots, which really, there can never be too much of...

Um, perhaps for PTA meetings?
And finally, a stunning collection by Prabal Gurung featuring more lace, more feathers with sequins and leather too. I want this outfit...

Definitely hand-wash only.
