One Year Later

Today Eloise is one year old.

My tiny, delicate baby is growing into a beautiful toddler all too quickly. She scoots around the house with ardor, making a beeline for her toys and anything else in her path. She says Mama, Dada, Gaga (that's my Mom), Papa (that's my Dad), Duck and her favourite word is, Dog. She pulled herself up last week, has figured out peek-a-boo, is trying to whistle and has almost nailed a high five. Eloise has five teeth and a mass of curls atop her head. Her favourite book is B is for Bear, her favourite food is potato leek soup, she loves to snuggle her Piglet and is still fascinated with her feet. If she is cranky we put on music and dance or chase Granby around the house (he loves this too).

Eloise is happy, curious, sweet and energetic; watching her grow over the past year has been the most amazing experience I've ever had.

Happy birthday to our sweet baby girl, our peanut, our monkey, our Booboo. We love you so, so much, Eloise!
