Gamma Gamma

A long time ago now I wrote about this totally weird and wonderful kids show I encountered with a DJ host, strange characters and Biz Markie teaching kids how to beat-box. That show was Yo Gabba Gabba and Eloise is way into it.

I pvr'd an episode months ago since The Roots were the musical guest and Eloise loved it. We've watched that same episode a dozen times and since added Yo Gabba Gabba to our database of Eloise-approved shows. She's even favoured "Gamma Gamma" over Franklin these past few weeks, and that says a lot.

I like that Yo Gabba Gabba is creative and quirky. The lessons are good (wash your hands, don't say mean things to friends, respect adults) and although the graphics are super trippy, the messages are positive and clear.

As soon as one episode finishes the question is, "Gamma Gamma again, Mommy?"
